We made lemon bars. Sort of. I got it in my head that a lemon bar made with the vegan and gluten free crust I used in my apple tart would be amazing. So, I found this lemon bar recipe and we made it with this crust recipe. In hindsight, that wasn't the best choice. LOL.

I always thought that bagels were very difficult to make, and figured it was easier to try to find a decent bagel shop than to make one. But, when I stumbled on this recipe, I decided that Kiddo and I should give it a shot in time for our first blogiversary.
This recipe is quite simple, and it is also forgiving. We may have dropped the stick of butter on the counter, and lost a bit in the process, but the cobbler came out just fine.
This is a yummy cake and it was fun to make- there are plenty of fun, kid-friendly jobs for all skill levels.
