On Sunday, Kiddo wanted take-out. The problem is, we haven’t ordered take-out since before the stay at home orders. But, I made a compromise. We could have pizza and wings, we would just make them ourselves.
Kiddo and I love apples (it's my favorite fruit!). She loves pancakes. Apple is the only fruit that Kiddo actually likes IN a pancake.

Kiddo, her cousins and I went strawberry picking a few weekends back. It was fun and really hot... This cake was an easy and fun recipe to make.
A good friend of ours had a baby on April 1st. Prior to his birth, we made a few meals for our friends. This is one of them.
Although I haven't blogged in a while, we have been cooking.
We are big fans of the pb & j, and since Kiddo likes it so much I wanted to teach her how to make it.
So, it took a while but we have finally consumed the 20 lbs of apples that we brought home from apple picking. This is the last recipe that we made. I was a little skeptical, but it turned out pretty well.
She just recently got over her fear of the electric mixer. Baking is a lot easier (and faster) now that I don't have to stop for her to be a safe distance away before I turn it on.
I was pleased with the ease of this recipe, the opportunities for Kiddo to help, and with how good the squash tasted when it was done. Kiddo had seconds!
