It was super easy- so easy that Kiddo was confused. I took out the mixing bowl and told her we were going to make the cake. So she said, “Oh. I know we need flour, eggs, and vanilla. Right?” This was only the second time she has made a cake from a mix, so the idea that we were just adding eggs, oils, water, and the mix was shocking to her. She kept asking for the vanilla. LOL.

Homemade Goldfish Crackers!
Last week we ran out of Goldfish, and our next scheduled grocery was not scheduled for over a week. Yikes! I then started looking for a recipe.
Carrot Muffins
These muffins are ah-may-zing. Seriously. We made them on Friday and I’m planning to make them again today.
Homemade Pop Tarts!
So, I haven’t had a Pop Tart since I was pregnant and craved them, and that was the only time Kiddo has had one. However, they seemed like a fun baking challenge for us to try. I LOVED the results.
M&M Cookies
M&Ms are way better in a cookie than they are alone.
Best Banana Muffins
Kiddo loves these. We made them twice in one week. She would probably be happy to eat them every week, but we don’t have enough bananas for that.
Homemade Oreos
We made Oreos! They were delicious!
Hello!
Kiddo and I have been busy with life, and I haven’t gotten around to posting much. I have several partly written posts that I will endeavor to finish, but in the mean time here are some pictures of what we’ve been up to.
Lemon Bars…
We made lemon bars. Sort of. I got it in my head that a lemon bar made with the vegan and gluten free crust I used in my apple tart would be amazing. So, I found this lemon bar recipe and we made it with this crust recipe. In hindsight, that wasn't the best choice. LOL.
Vegan Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies
Yum! These cookies were really good (not good-for-a-vegan-cookie-good; these cookies are just good!!).
