We made lemon bars. Sort of. I got it in my head that a lemon bar made with the vegan and gluten free crust I used in my apple tart would be amazing. So, I found this lemon bar recipe and we made it with this crust recipe. In hindsight, that wasn't the best choice. LOL.
I love fall baking. We still had 3 apples on Saturday when Kiddo asked if we could bake something. I decided to try this recipe, although our standard recipe is still my favorite pumpkin bread.
Kiddo and I are still working through our humongous bag of recently picked apples, and I recently had snickerdoodles at a neighbor's party, so when I happened upon this recipe, I knew we would be making it.
