She just recently got over her fear of the electric mixer. Baking is a lot easier (and faster) now that I don't have to stop for her to be a safe distance away before I turn it on.
Kiddo loves making pancakes. One of her favorite make-believe games is to serve up pancakes (usually a coaster) to anyone around. When we make them together she particularly enjoys using the whisk. Kiddo has made the marinade for me several times. She is great at measuring (or scooping, as she calls it), and dumping the ingredients.
I was pleased with the ease of this recipe, the opportunities for Kiddo to help, and with how good the squash tasted when it was done. Kiddo had seconds!
Kiddo loves eggs. Today I had the time to let her help me as much as she wanted to.
