It was super easy- so easy that Kiddo was confused. I took out the mixing bowl and told her we were going to make the cake. So she said, “Oh. I know we need flour, eggs, and vanilla. Right?” This was only the second time she has made a cake from a mix, so the idea that we were just adding eggs, oils, water, and the mix was shocking to her. She kept asking for the vanilla. LOL.
However, my sister had a fantastic idea about how to make Thanksgiving a shared meal and be safe. Its so great that I need to share it with all of you.
On Sunday, Kiddo wanted take-out. The problem is, we haven’t ordered take-out since before the stay at home orders. But, I made a compromise. We could have pizza and wings, we would just make them ourselves.
Last week we ran out of Goldfish, and our next scheduled grocery was not scheduled for over a week. Yikes! I then started looking for a recipe.
Kiddo and I love apples (it's my favorite fruit!). She loves pancakes. Apple is the only fruit that Kiddo actually likes IN a pancake.
These muffins are ah-may-zing. Seriously. We made them on Friday and I’m planning to make them again today.
So, I haven’t had a Pop Tart since I was pregnant and craved them, and that was the only time Kiddo has had one. However, they seemed like a fun baking challenge for us to try. I LOVED the results.
M&Ms are way better in a cookie than they are alone.
Kiddo loves these. We made them twice in one week. She would probably be happy to eat them every week, but we don’t have enough bananas for that.
We made Oreos! They were delicious!
